Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Breckenridge, Minnesota. This role involves providing acute care in a fast-paced ER environment with a trauma level IV designation, STEMI receiving capabilities, and stroke designation. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic team setting, adhering to facility and safety protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts of 12 hours, including day and night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday requirements.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); minimum of 2 years ER experience and previous Medsurg experience; Minnesota state licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in trauma and stroke centers preferred.
• Float: Float to Medical-Surgical and Swing Bed units on the same unit may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit is staffed with ED physicians and mid-level providers.
  • Nurses are required to read their own telemetry strips.
  • Equipment includes non-invasive respiratory support devices such as Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc., with RNs troubleshooting as needed.
  • Shifts are on a 12-hour rotation from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Orientation consists of 12-hour shifts.
  • The position requires upfront RTO approval with no additional RTO is permissible post-submission.
  • Candidate must meet radius restrictions and cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with associated facilities within the past year.
