Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Surgical registered nurse position located in Dallas, Texas. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a dynamic ICU setting, focusing on surgical and critically ill patients. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, 2 years of ICU experience, BLS certification, ACLS certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocols, Meditech electronic documentation system experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing central line placements, bedside procedures such as thoracentesis and dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU-related procedures. The patient population is mainly surgical, particularly oncology cases.
