The organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager specializing in Operating Room and Surgical Services at a facility located in Manhasset, New York. This leadership position involves managing and overseeing the surgical nursing practice, patient care, staff operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires a focus on team building, recruitment, retention, and operational excellence within a busy surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Position: Nurse Manager OR / Surgical Services
• Location: Manhasset, NY
• Schedule: Days shift, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, flexible on start time. Shifts are either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Minimum hours per week: 37.5.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; current New York State RN license; 6-8 years of nursing experience; at least 5 years of operating room experience; minimum of 3 years of operating room abdominal transplant case experienceplease specify the organ transplant experience on the resume; 2-5 years of solid and consistent leadership or management experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Nursing; previous experience in a quaternary care facility.
• Additional Information: Must have abdominal transplant and management experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership abilities in OR management and team oversight, including recruitment, retention, staff cross-training, and operational efficiency.
