Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a healthcare facility in Glendale, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for neonatal patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care that supports the health and safety of newborns and their families.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or applicable licensure, BLS certification is required. No minimum experience required, but experience in neonatal or pediatric care is preferred.
  • Additional Information: Responsible for comprehensive neonatal patient assessments, care planning, coordination, and documentation. Provides direct patient care, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and may participate in research activities. Ensures communication of patient status and care plans to appropriate team members. Promotes growth of staff through mentoring and contribution to quality improvement efforts.
