Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Unit Notes is needed for a facility located in Corning, Iowa. This critical access unit requires a dedicated professional to provide patient care during night shifts. The role involves adhering to specific policies and delivering quality clinical services in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour nights, with shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Days may vary, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA), Basic Life Support (AHA), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA). Two years of nursing experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Department experience is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: Must wait 12 months to apply as a traveler with the organization if previously worked as a permanent or PRN staff. Unit notes include a 50-mile radius rule using drivers license as proof of address, and a fingernail policy prohibiting artificial nails for patient care staff. No clinical involvement in interview process. Must hold a valid license to submit application.
