Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Oakland, California. This role involves providing postoperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patient vitals, managing pain, and ensuring optimal recovery in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Oakland, California
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; current Registered Nurse license (in the state where care is provided); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; Procedural Sedation Competency; minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the PACU environment; minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in ER, ICU, or PACU; minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings; minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures; Enable Skills-Based Hiring; No QualificationAssessment required; must have license & certifications
• Additional Information: The position requires adherence to facility fixed notes and clinical protocols. Availability for start date on 07/27/2026.
