Job Summary:
Nursing Profession Medical Surgical (MS) Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, coordinating patient care utilizing the nursing process, and participating in patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Additional Information: The nurse will perform bedside point of care testing as required, participate in education programs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. The position involves complex problem-solving, discharge planning, patient education, and adherence to healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines. Prioritizing patient needs, cultural sensitivity, and safety management are central to this role.
