Job Summary
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in San Diego, California. This position involves supporting the operating room team with sterile procedures, equipment preparation, and assisting during various surgical procedures. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with weekend and weekday on-call responsibilities in a 4-week period, including two scheduled weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of three years of experience as a scrub person in a hospital setting; licensure through an approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills via on-the-job training; Scrub Tech Certification preferred; BLS for Healthcare Providers required; experience with cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, and robotic surgeries when working on general cases.
Preferred Qualifications: Approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on-the-job training; Scrub Tech Certification.
Certifications: Scrub Tech Certification preferred; BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
Additional Information: The role involves supportive functions in sterile procedure environments, with emphasis on proficiency in cardiac, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and robotic surgeries. Candidates should have a minimum of a high school education preferred.
Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week starting on 07/27/2026.
