Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Adult Inpatient in Iowa City is a high-acuity unit requiring skilled healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive critical care. The position involves night shifts and supports the staff's efforts to ensure optimal patient outcomes through specialized critical care services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30); minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience preferred.
- Education: Relevant nursing degree/license as required by state regulations.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience: At least 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CRRT, Impella, and IABP support devices.
- Additional Information: This role requires staffing for weekends and holidays to support consistent patient care coverage. No travel or float rotation is required for this position.
