Job Summary
Wound Care Specialist Newport, Oregon. This position involves providing treatment based on established care plans for patients with wounds, ostomies, fistulas, and skin breakdown. Acts as a resource and consultant to nursing staff and patients, performing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound care. Collaborates with wound, ostomy, and continence nurses to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification, 6 months of wound care experience, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and related certification in Wound Care.
