Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Kennewick, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care within the Birth Center at a comprehensive healthcare facility serving a diverse patient population. The position supports a busy labor and delivery unit with a focus on maternal and neonatal health, offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant community setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current State License; 2+ years recent acute experience in labor and delivery; certifications in fetal monitoring, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OR circulation, mother/baby unit, and triage (preferred but not required); familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments related to labor and delivery
- Additional Information: Volume is approximately 110 deliveries per month; unit comprises 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, and 3 triage beds. Ability to demonstrate flexibility and effective communication skills is essential. The unit utilizes Centricity and Paragon electronic health records.
