Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse for a facility in Odessa, Texas. This position involves providing specialized care to post-anesthesia patients, collaborating with surgical teams and anesthesiologists, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of working scheduled shifts and managing patient care effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts from 0600 to 1500, with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 0 or more years of experience, current certifications including ACLS and BLS, and prior travel experience with at least 2 years of experience. No local candidates will be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit, familiarity with surgical teams, and knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
• Additional Information: All travel submissions must include prior travel experience. The PACU Registered Nurse will hold shift accountability for delivering patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, and maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. The role involves providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel, ensuring safe and efficient patient care.
