Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Covington, Washington. This role involves providing perioperative patient care in a busy surgical environment, supporting various surgical specialties with a focus on orthopedic, ENT, and general surgeries. The position requires strong circulating skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, start times at 0630 or 1100 depending on needs; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; 1 year of OR nursing experience; location in Washington; ability to circulate pediatric, orthopedic, ENT, and general surgery patients; scrub skills preferred but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Patient types include bariatric, ENT, fractures, general, gynecology, orthopedic, pediatric (ENT), podiatry, robotics, sports medicine, total hips, and urology. No neuro or cardiac cases.
  • Beds: 58 licensed beds and 3 operating rooms.
  • Average of 5-10 cases per day.
  • Charting system includes EPIC.
  • Equipment includes Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing.
  • Scrubs are provided.
  • Day shift is 10 hours, with a rotating on-call schedule including weeknights and weekends.
