Job Summary

Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Dallas, Texas. This role entails providing specialized nursing care for patients with complex medical needs in a facility dedicated to long-term acute care. The position involves working nights on a 12-hour shift schedule, ensuring quality patient care in a high-acuity setting.

Job Details

  • Location: Dallas, Texas
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, associate or bachelors degree in nursing, 2 years of relevant nursing experience, valid Texas nursing license, and the ability to work night shifts
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in long-term acute care, critical thinking skills, warm and welcoming personality, problem-solving ability, and leadership skills
  • Additional Information: This position is located on a dedicated unit with 50 beds, utilizing Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems. Patient population includes adult patients with complex conditions such as stroke, amputation, and major surgeries. The role requires professional urgency and compassionate care, with the first report time at 6:45 pm. Parking is available in the main parking lot.
