Description
Job Summary:
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lewiston, ME. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a rehabilitation and physical therapy unit within a healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be expected to precept and work collaboratively within a team to deliver quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, 2+ years of clinical experience, and ability to work in Lewiston, ME
- Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience, flexibility, team-oriented personality
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The role involves working with a patient population that includes geriatric, adult, and possibly pediatric patients, with varying patient ratios (typically 2 RNs and 1 CNA per shift). The unit manages a small beds capacity, providing focused and personalized care.
