Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Wichita, Kansas. This seasonal travel assignment involves working in a fast-paced NICU setting with a team dedicated to providing exceptional neonatal care. The role requires a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to support the unit's mission of family-centered and developmental care.

Job Details:

Position: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN
Location: 550 N. Hillside Avenue, Wichita, KS 67214
Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of current acute care NICU hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Kansas licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level IV NICU experience
- Prior Meditech experience
- Experience at large teaching facilities
Unit Information:
- Neonatal ICU / (675)
- Capacity of 84 beds with a staff of 160
- Typical patient ratios: 2:1 in NICU, 3:1 in NSCU
- Equipment used includes Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, Philips, GE
- EMR: Neonatal Notes Manager / Meditech
- Common procedures: IV placement, Whole Body Cooling, Surgical Cases (NEC, PDA, CVC), PDA ligations, High Frequency Ventilation, Chest Tubes
