Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Waterloo, Iowa. This position involves providing urgent care to patients in a fast-paced environment, adhering to facility protocols, and ensuring quality patient outcomes. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional emergency care.

Job Details:

Position: Emergency Room Nurse (ER)
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/03/2026
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, at least 1 year of emergency nursing experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, ability to work nights, Iowa residency or willingness to relocate
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records systems, ICU or trauma experience, certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), familiarity with facility-specific protocols
Additional Information: Please review facility fixed notes for details regarding shift hours from 1845 to 0715 and every third weekend and holiday shifts.
