Description
Job Summary:
Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Roswell, New Mexico. This position involves providing care in a general medical-surgical unit, with potential float responsibilities to ICU and Step Down units. The role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to various patient care settings, supporting the organization in maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend schedule, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 1 year of experience in medical-surgical nursing; applicable licensure in New Mexico; no minimum experience specified otherwise
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Float: Float rotation may be required. Floating to ICU for overflow or Step Down assignment may occasionally be necessary.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have current fingerprints on file as required by the state of New Mexico. Scrubs are royal blue. The electronic medical records system used is Cerner and Mindray Telemetry System. Typical patient ratio is 1:6, occasionally 1:7. The unit has a maximum of 36 beds for the week.
