Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a cardiac-focused unit, with a mix of acute medical and telemetry responsibilities. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and experience in cardiac and step-down care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shifts, 12-hour shifts, starting at 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday commitment.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (AHA), NIHSS certifications; minimum of 1 year of experience in tele, inpatient medical-surgical, or step-down nursing; cardiac experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel nursing experience is advantageous.
• Float: Float to other Medical/Surgical floors may be required; nurses may need to float outside the med/surg cluster depending on staffing needs.
• Additional Information: The unit has a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 during days/evenings and 1:6-7 during nights, with a focus on cardiac diagnoses such as pre/post procedures, CHF, COPD, diabetes, dialysis, and stroke. RN staff are expected to titrate drips including insulin, heparin, nitro, and diltiazem. Staff will be responsible for reading their own telemetry strips, with continuous monitoring available. The unit uses Cerner charting system, and orientation includes off-unit and on-unit training. Scrubs can be any clean, professional color.
