Description
Job Summary:
Endoscopy Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Kearney, Nebraska. This role involves providing patient care in an acute care setting within a Level 2 Trauma Center that is part of a Catholic health organization. The position requires performing duties related to endoscopic procedures and assisting with endoscopy-related activities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an endoscopy or labor setting, additional certifications relevant to endoscopy.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role includes responsibilities for prep and assist with endoscopic procedures, with occasional involvement in bronchoscopies and ERCPs. Nurses may need to perform sedation if competent and comfortable. The hospital's policy includes a nail policy regarding artificial nails, and candidates must possess a valid drivers license to confirm distance from the facility. RN candidates must pass a skills exam during orientation with a 90% passing score. Candidates must adhere to radius restrictions and facility policies.
