Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for a Step Down Unit position in the New York state area. This role involves patient care on a 24-bed telemetry unit with a focus on monitoring and managing patients requiring step-down care. The position requires adherence to all facility policies and procedures, including those related to patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), relevant healthcare or nursing degree, location within the United States, and 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry or step-down units is preferred.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit features large rooms with private bathrooms and showers, and is staffed with a team nursing model. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, care planning, and adherence to facility protocols.
