Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Elmira, New York. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care during the night shift at a busy emergency department with 48 treatment spaces. The role requires managing a patient ratio of 1:5, ensuring patient safety and comfort through effective assessment, intervention, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 1 year of experience working in emergency care settings
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is a plus
- Additional Information: Looking for an experienced ER nurse for night shifts in a high-volume emergency department, capable of managing multiple patients and adhering to facility protocols
