Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Torrance, California. This position involves providing care in a busy emergency department within a 356-bed acute care hospital. The role requires flexibility to float between units and deliver high-quality patient care across diverse cases in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS certifications; 0 years of experience required; ability to float between units; minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with patient ratio experience at 4.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma level I or II, community hospital experience, and experience with electronic charting systems such as Epic.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, EDAP or ENPC certifications.
- Additional Information: Travel experience not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment, managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, and complex emergencies. Floating to pediatric units and support during high-acuity situations may be required.
