Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby Couple Care is sought for a facility located in Greeley, Colorado. This position involves evaluating, planning, and delivering comprehensive nursing care to postpartum and neonatal patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to organizational standards and professional nursing practices. The RN is responsible for providing highest quality care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team and supporting patient education and discharge planning.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN licensure. BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which the position is applied is desired. The candidate must meet clinical performance competencies demonstrated through annual validations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher. Professional certification is preferred.
- Additional Information: The RN will assess, formulate, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans specific to postpartum and neonatal care, including discharge planning and patient education. Documentation must be accurate, complete, and compliant with policies and regulatory standards. The role involves direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of care activities. The position may require interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, utilizing nursing knowledge and judgment to support excellent patient outcomes.
