Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Boston, MA. This position involves working in a busy surgical environment with a focus on orthopedic and total joint procedures. The role includes day shifts with scheduled call and weekend coverage, requiring strong orthopedic experience. The start date is August 10, 2026.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: 8-hour or 12-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1-3 years of related work experience in an operating room setting; orthopedic and total joints experience required; Massachusetts licensure required at the time of submission; no local travelers will be accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The position involves scheduling up to four call shifts per month, including weekends and holiday coverage. First week includes five days of orientation, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Up to two hours of post-shift call may occur once a week, with weekend and overnight call coverage as specified.
