Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a role at a healthcare facility in Wenatchee, Washington. The position involves providing high-quality, compassionate patient care in a PACU setting, ensuring patient safety and recovery following surgical procedures. The role requires adherence to all relevant policies and standards, and the successful candidate will work a day shift with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.

Job Details:

  • Location: Wenatchee, Washington
  • Schedule: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each shift, totaling a minimum of 36 hours weekly
  • Required Qualifications:
    • WA State / Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
    • Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
    • Must take call and float as a sitter; may float in rotation
    • Must adhere to organization policies, unit standards, and Washington Nurse Practice Act
  • Job functions:
    • Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care with compassion, utilizing the nursing process and unit standards
    • Develop, implement, and continually reassess patient care plans
    • Administer medications, complete procedures, and provide treatments
    • Evaluate discharge plans and educate patients and families on health information
    • Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
    • Collect patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care
    • Conduct ongoing holistic assessments and respond appropriately
    • Delegate tasks to non-licensed assistive personnel as needed
    • Participate in performance evaluation and improvement processes
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with policies
