Job Summary
Electrophysiology Lab (ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY LAB) RN position located in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized cardiac procedures within a short term acute care facility, with a focus on cardiac electrophysiology services. The RN will support interventional procedures, including arrhythmia induction, pacemaker and AICD insertions, and device programming, working collaboratively within a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; 1 year of relevant experience in electrophysiology (EP) lab; Certification in ACLS and BLS; Experience with EP procedures such as arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, pacemaker and defibrillator management, tilt table studies, procedural sedation monitoring; Charting experience in EPIC or similar systems; Ability to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate facilities; Must have a vehicle for the assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a community hospital setting; familiarity with EP procedures and equipment.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All specific scheduling requests should be included during submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted. Candidates will be asked to provide references covering the last 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs).
