Description
Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse in Boston, MA. This position involves working in a busy surgical environment focused on neuro, ortho trauma, and kidney transplant procedures. The role requires providing patient care during various types of surgeries, including robotics, transplants, spine, ENT, GYN, urology, and trauma, with adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards. The shift is scheduled for days, with 10-hour shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours, starting 08/03/2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified surgical nurse (OR), with BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Must have at least 1 year of OR experience, including scrub and/or circulate roles in neuro, ortho trauma, or transplant surgeries.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with robotics and transplants is desirable.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role is primarily based on the West Main campus but can be floated to east or CVI OR. Candidates should be able to respond to on-call shifts with a 30-minute response time and work short call shifts during weeknights. Holidays are eligible to work. RTO requests must be approved before scheduling. No local travelers will be accepted (candidates residing within 50 miles are ineligible). Start date is ASAP, with four weeks available for compliance orientation.
