Description

Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Boston, MA. This position involves working primarily in the West Main Operating Room focusing on inpatient Level I trauma surgery, including a wide variety of surgical procedures such as bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants. The role requires scrub experience in general surgery, robotics, and transplants, with a schedule of dayshift rotations and occasional weekends and call shifts.

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Dayshift; minimum of 40 hours per week, with up to 2 weekends per month and on-call shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a on weekends and holidays). Short call shifts are scheduled once weekly, either 3a-7a or 5p-9p.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in perioperative nursing or relevant surgical experience, valid nursing license, previous experience in transplant, trauma, and neuro surgical environments, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and ability to work in the United States.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with kidney, liver transplants, robotics, and neuro surgery is highly desirable.
  • Additional Information: The position requires a BILH coversheet at submission. Must have transplant, trauma, and neuro experience. The team works in a facility with 10 operating rooms, focusing on a variety of complex surgical procedures, including robotic and major reconstructive surgeries. The position is primarily based at the West Main campus but may require floating. RTO requests must be approved prior to scheduling. Start date is August 10, 2026, with a compliance orientation beginning weekly on Mondays.
