Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in an intensive care environment. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Job Details
- Position Description: NICU RN responsible for caring for neonates, infants, and pediatrics with diagnoses such as prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS. Experience with trach/vent management is essential.
- Certifications: BLS, CPI; ACLS preferred.
- Required Qualifications: Active MD or Compact RN license, CPI certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience with pediatric populations, 2 years of NICU experience, and at least 1 year of travel experience where applicable.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Unit Details: Patient census approximately 32 daily; common diagnoses include prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS.
- Additional Responsibilities: Ability to float within scope, adherence to standard safety protocols, and compliance with onboarding requirements.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the clinical qualifications and be available to start on 09/21/2026, with a contract duration of 13 weeks ending on 12/21/2026.
