Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse position is available in Boise, Idaho. The role involves providing care for a diverse patient population, including orthopedics, ENT surgeries, epilepsy monitoring, general medical-surgical cases, and pediatric overflow. The RN will work within a dynamic unit requiring collaboration, adaptability, and bedside clinical expertise.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (American Heart Association), minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, and the ability to float to similar units and other medical centers.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with epilepsy patients and ICU/ED transfer experience preferred.
• Float: Float to like units within the facility and to other designated medical centers as needed.
• Additional Information: The unit staff includes charge nurses, assistant managers, and a unit-based educator, with nurse aids and patient care techs supporting patient care. Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and float coverage to different units. Orientation includes one day of on-floor training. The facility enforces a radius rule of 50 miles for candidate eligibility.
