Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Clinic Nurse in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized urgent care services exclusively for current oncology patients, delivering same-day symptom management, treatments, and diagnostics. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment with established patients and operating around the clock, seven days a week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN license; 2 years RN experience; BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience; oncology, emergency room, urgent care, or infusion experience preferred.
- Additional Information: The position involves medication review, patient education, reviewing after visiting summaries, and managing the EPIC in-basket. Candidates must be experienced with current oncology patients only. This facility operates 24/7 and is located in the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Building. Prior employment within any Johns Hopkins facilities must be noted in the work history and verified before a candidate receives an offer; candidates must be gone at least one full year if previously employed in any capacity at Johns Hopkins facilities.
