Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse is based in a healthcare facility located in Reston, Virginia. This role involves supporting a 9-bed pre and post-procedure area along with a dedicated cardiac catheterization lab. The position requires providing specialized nursing care during cardiovascular procedures, including heart catheterizations and pacemaker insertions, operating in a fast-paced environment with a team of highly skilled staff.

Job Details:

• Location: Reston, VA
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 1-year experience as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), be willing to take call, and possess the ability to perform procedures such as heart catheterizations and pacemaker insertions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Mac Lab and Philips C-arm equipment; knowledge of CPOE electronic medical records system.
• Position Description: Two openings for Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses responsible for supporting the cardiac catheterization procedures and patient care in a hospital setting. Scrubs are provided by the hospital, and staff work in a team environment with a focus on patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Additional Information: The unit maintains a team of 5 to 6 staff during the day shift, including a charge nurse, RCIS professionals, and nurses. The hospital requires scrubs and emphasizes a professional dress code.
