Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse role is based in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing critical postoperative care to adult and pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia. The role requires delivering specialized clinical care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout recovery. This assignment spans from September 21, 2026, through December 27, 2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent clinical experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • License, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS).
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Procedural Sedation Competency.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit environments.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in an outpatient setting.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures.

  • No qualification assessment required.
  • Must have valid licenses and certifications as listed.
