Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Bronx, New York. This position involves providing care in an acute care setting with a focus on emergency response, care coordination, utilization review, and discharge planning. The role requires a strong clinical background and adherence to regulatory standards, supporting patient recovery and safety in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program, RN Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York, PRI and Screen certification during submission, Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED), BLS certification, a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, and experience with care coordination, utilization review, and discharge planning.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters in Nursing, Case Management Certification, and local candidates are strongly preferred.
- Additional Information: The role emphasizes skills in care coordination, utilization review, discharge planning, computer literacy, and leadership qualities. The position may require certification updates within three months of employment and adherence to facility policies.
