Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position available in Canton, South Dakota. This role involves providing direct patient care within a post-acute care setting, primarily during night shifts. The selected candidate will work on a unit with a team-focused approach, supporting residents with various care needs including memory care, dementia, and orthopedic conditions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, primarily from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), BLS Certification, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, and Ohio or South Dakota license eligibility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in long-term care environments, knowledge of PCC charting system, and familiarity with patient diagnoses such as dementia, memory care, and orthopedic conditions.
• Additional Information:
  • Location-specific orientation includes building orientation and lifts, estimated at 2-4 hours.
  • No behavioral risks are currently associated with the patient population.
  • Backouts and quits with less than 14-days notice incur a $500 fee.
  • No on-call or callback responsibilities are billable.
