Job Summary
Long Term Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in Canton, South Dakota. This role involves providing bedside patient care within a post-acute care setting, primarily working night shifts. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team to support residents with various needs, including memory care, dementia, and orthopedic conditions.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts (primarily 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.), 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Valid LPN license, BLS Certification, minimum 2 years of clinical experience, and authorization to submit licensure verification.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Location-specific orientation covering building procedures and lifts, approximately 2-4 hours.
  • Unit contains 42 beds with a staffing ratio of two nurses during day/evening shifts and one nurse during night shifts.
  • No on-call or billable callback available.
  • No behavioral risks currently present among patients.
  • EMR system utilized is Point Click Care (PCC).
  • Cancelation policy requires two weeks notice.
