Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy ER setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in emergency medical procedures and possess current clinical certifications necessary for critical care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience; active Iowa or multistate nursing license; EPIC electronic medical records experience; recent travel contract within the last 18 months; certifications including BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), and NIH Stroke Scale (can be obtained during onboarding).
• Preferred Qualifications: Active TNCC and CPI or similar de-escalation certificates; recent performance references; drivers license; prior experience withER-specific skills as listed.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS (required); TNCC (required).
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 8/3, 8/10, and 8/17. Holiday work may be required on Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day unless the unit is closed. Candidate must demonstrate specific skills, including experience with drip protocols and titrations, and work within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
