Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Danville, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within a busy surgical services department. Job Details

• Location: Danville, VA
• Schedule: Two 12-hour shifts (6:30 a.m. 7:00 p.m.) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m.); working approximately 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Virginia RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, HWC (offered on-site), NIH, 2 years of OR experience, current certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, ortho surgery experience, 2+ years of related experience
• Float: May be asked to float within scope of practice
• Additional Information: The RN will support a unit serving all ages, with patient ratios of approximately 1:1. Responsibilities include assisting with total joint replacements, spine, abdominal, ENT surgeries, and managing respiratory failure, CHF, and CKD. Candidates should be motivated, proactive, professional, and able to work well within a team.
