Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse needed for a facility located in Waco, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care for neonates in a Level II NICU setting, including attending deliveries and transitioning newborn babies. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to neonatal health and safety.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (NICU or Neonatal ICU), current licensure in Texas, and a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level II NICU care and attending deliveries in an obstetric setting
- Additional Information: The unit utilizes an Epic electronic medical record system. The position involves caring for neonates in a Level II NICU, including attending deliveries and providing transitional care to newborns. Specific duties may include monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and assisting with neonatal emergencies as per facility protocols.
