Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) to join a healthcare facility in Neenah, Wisconsin. This position involves providing care on a Medical/Surgical Floor during 12-hour night shifts. The role is part of an 11-week contract, with an emphasis on trauma surgical, neuro, and orthopedic patient care, requiring experienced and resilient nursing professionals.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, starting at 5:30 PM, guaranteed 36 hours per week, for an 11-week contract beginning on 08/03/2026.
• Required Qualifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), minimum 3 years of RN experience, at least 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience, and 1 travel assignment. Charting experience with Electronic Patient Information Charting (EPIC) within the last 2 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma surgical, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries; familiarity with neuro and orthopedic trauma; ability to handle critical cases with policies such as chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, and post-op neuro and ortho trauma surgeries.
• Float: Float rotation may be required across all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius, within the staff's skillset.
• Additional information: Candidates must demonstrate resilience, adaptability to change, and a strong work ethic. Scrub colors are black. The typical patient ratio is 1:5 to 1:6 for night shifts. Interviews are conducted on Monday through Friday via MSP interview type.
