Job Summary:
Operating Room First Assistant in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift
• Schedule: 8 hours daily, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Two years current First Assistant Operating Room (ORFA) experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license - must be uploaded with profile
  • Massachusetts residence not within 50 miles of the facility
  • Must have own vehicle for the assignment
  • Work history and skills checklist required, current within one year
  • Supervisory Signed Reference from within the past two years of employment
  • Available for on-call rotation at the main OR facility, if needed
  • Must include all requested time off (RTO) requests at the time of submission; requests after offer may be rescinded
• Preferred Qualifications: Highly preferred Meditech Expanse experience
• Additional Information:
  • Travelers must include their permanent address in their profile
  • All scheduling requests must be made at submission; facility will not approve post-offer requests
  • Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered to avoid processing delays
  • Dress code: Facility-provided scrubs
  • Orientation: 8 hours non-billable orientation
  • Call: On call rotation at the facility's main operating room if needed
  • No shift accommodations will be considered for this need
