Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility located in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care on a step down unit, with a focus on titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips as a mandatory requirement. The position requires adaptability to float between units and is scheduled for night shifts, offering a dynamic and challenging environment for experienced nursing professionals.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active nursing license in Texas, minimum of 0 years of experience, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, and experience with IMC units preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, managing vasoactive and cardiac drips, and familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
- Additional Information: The assignment involves responsibilities such as management of cardiac rhythms, titrating drips, managing ventilators, and caring for adult and geriatric patients. Candidates must be flexible to float between units, adhere to hospital protocols, and work scheduled holidays. All required certifications must be current and maintained throughout the assignment.
