Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Jacksonville, Florida. This assignment involves working in a high-volume surgical environment with a focus on orthopedic joints, trauma, and general surgery procedures, including DaVinci Robotics. The role spans 13 weeks, with a schedule of 10-hour day shifts, and offers the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience in a dynamic facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10H Days: 06:45 AM - 05:15 PM, variable days (block scheduling not guaranteed)
• Schedule Details: 40 hours per week, with flexibility required for variable days, weekends, and holidays
• Travel Requirement: Yes
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN
  • Prior travel experience highly preferred
  • Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must be included in submission file)
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS preferred at time of submission
  • Clinical experience in orthopedics (joints), trauma, and general surgery is required
  • Must include specific EMR details, facility type, bed count, and a professional reference within the last 12 months
  • No work history gaps over 30 days without documented explanation
• Additional Information:
  • All new RN starts must pass a basic specialty competency exam and an EKG interpretation exam with a minimum score of 80%; 100% correct identification of lethal rhythms is mandatory
  • Strongly recommended to review cardiac rhythms prior to start date
  • Interviews are required with the unit manager
  • Florida ACHA processing may take up to 14 business days from receipt; start dates must account for full compliance clearance time.
