Description
Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a community hospital emergency department located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing urgent care services in a fast-paced environment, with a unit size of 23 beds including a dedicated psychiatric pod. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing a caseload of 60-80 cases per day, and working during night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Details:
- Location: Greenfield, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certifications, with 17 years of experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Four or more years of ER nursing experience
- Additional Information: The position involves working in a community hospital emergency department with a steady case load, requiring excellent clinical skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting. Onboarding and compliance details will be provided upon selection.
