Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Simi Valley, California. This position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in a high-volume emergency department setting. The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and utilizing advanced clinical judgment to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with start times at 12, 2, or 4 hours; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), crisis prevention or CPI certification; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; minimum of 0 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for collecting patient assessment data, developing and implementing care plans, collaborating with healthcare teams, participating in discharge planning, delegating duties, and providing patient education. All associates must adhere to vaccination requirements, with accommodations for exemptions as applicable.
