Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU Neuro) registered nurse for a day shift assignment in Albany, New York. The role involves providing specialized care for neurological ICU patients, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort. This position requires a dedicated professional equipped to handle complex neurological cases within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift with 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of ICU nursing experience in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients; experience in a Level One Trauma Center; previous travel nursing experience; Epic electronic medical record experience; current nursing license; ability to complete competency testing within 24 hours of submission. A valid email address must be provided for communication.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Neurocritical Care, familiarity with hospital protocols, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexible orientation availability.
• Additional Information: The position requires candidates to have navy blue scrubs and adhere to facility dress code. Position availability is due to vacancy, with one opening to fill. The role involves working day shifts, and candidates must be willing to float to other units if necessary. The assignment start date is 08/10/2026.
