Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The OR Nurse ensures the delivery of high-quality surgical nursing services, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and participates in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; BLS certification; experience in the clinical area for which they are applying, with a minimum of one year preferred. Clinical performance competencies must be maintained through annual validations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing; professional certification.
- Additional Information: The position involves direct patient care in the operating room environment, including pre-operative assessments, intraoperative support, and post-operative care. Candidates should be able to respond quickly and appropriately to patient needs, use proper body mechanics, and communicate effectively.
