Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse, Tucson, Arizona This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department of a healthcare facility. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care, adhering to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The nurse will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective treatment and patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in an emergency room or acute care setting is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Additional related education and/or experience is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The position involves assessing patient needs, formulating and executing care plans, and documenting in patient records. The nurse will evaluate patient responses and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust care as needed. Responsibilities may include supervision of staff and direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work nights and adapt to the emergency departments operational demands is essential.
