Description
Job Summary:
The Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) is located in Medford, Oregon, and is responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role is critical to maintaining infection control standards within the acute care setting and supports patient safety through efficient instrument management. The position involves night shifts and requires adherence to hospital protocols and safety procedures.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least 1 year of relevant experience; no licensure restrictions or location limitations specified

- Additional Information: The assignment begins on 07/27/2026. Local candidates are not accepted; there is a 50-mile radius restriction. The facility requires non-Oregon licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) to apply and be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if their permanent license is not posted before the start date. Orientation includes 12 hours of non-billable hours during the first workweek. Charting system used is EPIC. The client has a call-off policy allowing cancellations or call-offs with 24 hours' notice per 13-week period.
